It would be great to get all of the JV rankings for the year in one place. All I know is that GI only won 1 game last year at the JV level and this year they have won 5. 5-1 this year is a great change in the right direction.

GI JV has lost two games i know of. They lost to SMCC ans Airport i believe. But yes, they are much improved.

According to this website, GI has lost three games: Airport, SMCC, and Flatrock.

I'll say it...Airports JV didn't impress me last night. Hard to believe nobody beat them. It was 24-18 with 3 minutes left when FR turned the ball over on downs in Jets territory. At that point I think everyone knew the game was over because Flat Rock has zero plays to make a quick score. And that's why Airport scored to make it 32...the boys hung their head a bit. If it wasn't for that miscue on the kickoff and the coaches not feeling the need to stop that inside trap play til the 3rd quarter that game would have been a different story.

I'd ask for a rebuttal but it looked like there were only about 20 people on the Airport bleachers. Too bad a team half your size had twice the fans at your home game...of course it was hard to see when 2 light trees went out. Might want to keep up on that.

GI JV's record is 5 - 3. Losses to an extremely impressive SMCC team, very good Airport and yes I'll even say a Flat Rock team who totally outplayed the GI JV. This team has vastly improved over JV teams of the last few years. Team effort wins games - not bad for GI when they don't have a Freshman team and half of the JV is 9th graders. Starting qb has been out for the last three games but our second has come up big for the JV Devils. Keep up the good work boys and keep your hearts in the game - work as a team!

IT official...national weather service has issued a GALE Warning on LAKE ERIE...WINDS OF CHANGE blowing in off the lake right through GI!!!

Strap it up tight boys as all the GI haters that love to see the islanders in the tank are going to have to batten down their hatches for a few years now!!!
