Flat Rock @ Jefferson

The Rams (0-3) nearly pulled off the unthinkable last week in their 14-7 loss to Airport. The Bears (1-2) made a statement last week by beating Riverview 51-41 for their first victory of the season. Flat Rock won last season's game 21-19.

Flat Rock was able to play a full game defensively last week but the offense continues to slow the Rams down. The Rams are hoping to get a win this week after facing three teams that are a combined 9-0.

Somebody awoke the Bears from their hibernation last week as Jefferson got the ground game going for record setting performance. Defensively the Bears still have some work to do but this could be a good week to get better.

Tough call here. Flat Rock has a better defense than Jefferson while the Bears have the better offense. This game should be just like last season. I continue to be amazed at the preparation Tom Oestrike puts in at my Alma Mater. I'll go with the same score as last season. Pick: Flat Rock 21 Jefferson 19

Jefferson's o line is ready to go. No way does flat rock upset the bears this week. Another big game for #1 in the back field. 42-14 the bears!!!

Anytime teams are evenly matched you look at the coaching.
FR has a new head coach and Jeff. has a system in place. I'll take jefferson in a close one.

Jefferson's offense was rolling last weekend, will be very tough for Flat Rock to stop. Airport is overrated, which made Flat Rock seem better than they are, but Flat Rock is playing hard. Bears win 34-24.

Watch for FR to come out flat after a tough loss at Airport. It's tough to get up every week, especially going on the road to Jefferson.
Jefferson will be over flowing with confidence.

Love how now coaching 400 years is a good thing. Smh

Did Jefferson break the team rushing record for a game last week? Chris do you know what that record is? And guess who it was set against.

For sure a tough call here.
With all the talk about O and coaching, I say the better D will likely win this game though.....

Jeff wins in a shoot-out the week before so the D thinks its "all good"....FR D nearly led huge upset week before so the D KNOWS its "all good".

FR in close, low scoring affair...
13-7.

The Rams get win #1 this week. Flat Rock's seniors played their hearts out and nearly upset Airport. This week the hard work pays off in a close one, 14-13. EM

This game is going to tell us a lot about both teams. Remember Jefferson is faster than Airport. FR hasn't seen speed like this yet. I like FR keeping it close. Whoever has the ball last comes out on top.
The great thing about these schools is no matter what the score if they're up or down they never quit!! I have always respected FR and Jefferson for that.

I love how all of a sudden Jeffersons offense is unstoppable to everyone, yet last week Cisco couldn't coach that offense out of a hole. Jefferson is better than flat rock, but by no means do they have superb speed. I say Jefferson 20 flat rock 13.

Riverview was faster than Airport too. So what's the point of saying Jefferson is faster than Airport?

Flat Rock shut down Airports running game and will do the same to Jefferson.

Elijah has another 200+ game this week!!! Fr is on the rise but still going to take another five years to be a good team they r growing fast but not ready for the ground and pound.

Single game team rushing record is 613 yards against Flat Rock in 1996.

I think it was an individual rushing record that was set last week.

Jefferson won that game 63-20.
