SMCC/Lansing Catholic Central

SMCC (7-1) is coming off of a 38-24 victory over Jefferson while Lansing Catholic Central (5-3) beat Brantford Assumption College out on Ontario Canada 59-13. These two teams have never met in football.

LCC started the season 0-3 but have rebounded with five straight wins. The Cougars need a win to automatically qualify for the playoffs. SMCC has given up 104 points in the last three games despite winning two of the three.

This should be a great game but I will give a slight advantage to the home team. Pick: SMCC 29 LCC 24

LCC has lost to Portland and Saginaw Nouvel. SMCC better be on their game to have a chance.

SMCC has a lot of injuries, hopefully they can overcome those. Going to need good effort from everyone to get it done.

Too many injuries,defense struggling.
LCC 48, SMCC 30

with the favorites winning in wk 9, Huron does not make it in unfortunately.

Snooze also picked Milan to lose this weekend. They must not be favored in Massey or whatever he uses. Nonetheless I am sure it will be close and go down to the end. Good luck to all the HL teams this week.

What are they recruiting out of the country too?

This is going to be a tough game for SMCC. They have had a tough season with injuries and I think it only leaves them with Corbin, Czarniowski, Casteglione, and Bitz as the only seniors remaining healthy. It puts extra pressure on those 4 to do well and keep the team under control on the field. Good Luck SMCC. STAY INJURY FREE!

If SMCC recruits give me a list of their players who play college football........ Honestly they just get young men who buy in to a system and believe in their coach and work together as a team.

Good test for CC before the playoffs. Would a lose hurt CC's chances for a first round home game? EM

I know this SMCC fan might be at the game tomorrow rooting for the Flacons but my heart will be with the Bedford community as they lost one of there football players in a tragic accident. RIP Colton you will be missed.

They have high class kids that go there for education and football. They as a unit have studs.

CC should have at least one home game win or lose, maybe 2.
