Milan Preview

The Milan Big Reds are out to prove to the entire league that their fourteen game league winning streak and two consecutive league championships is no fluke. The Milan roster only includes 10 seniors, but a strong junior class gives the Big Reds reason to think a three-peat is possible.

Offensively, Milan will be led by sophomore RB Trace Lindeman who rushed for over 1,200 yards and 11 TD's as a freshman. The QB will be junior E.J. Medvecz. The transfer from Ypsi Lincoln is listed at 6-2, 225 lbs. The Big Reds had to replace a bulk of their offensive line, but have some good young players in Max Protske and Cody Brassy-Brierley.

Defensively, Milan will boast three of the better defenders in the league. Senior C.J. Duffiney is back at  at DB for the Big Reds along with junior LB Jordan Hendricks. Ypsi Lincoln transfer Cortez Gray will man another LB spot. Senior Ryan Faulkner will play defensive line and will be one of the best two way players in the league.

Milan made an effort to upgrade the non-league schedule this season which includes traditional football power Marshall and always powerful Detroit Country Day. Coach Jesse Hoskins has made a big name for himself in coaching circles and is known as a master motivator. Prediction 7-2

Milan will prevail as league champs. Just too much and too advanced for rest of league. If anyone gets close, its because Milan had an off day. Straight up, offense rolling, no one will touch them. Huron League will have to come up too speed because Milan will keep it rolling year in. year out.

Milan-blah-blah-blah Your are not to advanced for the rest of the league-just in your own mind. When and if you make the playoffs it will be one and done again-as usual!!

Not sure where your from, but Milan has won 14 straight league games, so apparently they have beaten your team. All the teams take turns at success, Milan is having some the last few years.

Solid preview, Chris. Even better than what MLive provided.

I'm glad you're back for another year at the helm dealing with us idiot commenters.

Thanks Coach Tom. I don't mind idiot commenters. They make it fun. You should really see the stuff I don't post.
