Flat Rock @ Huron

Huron (6-1) is coming off of a 21-14 come-from-behind victory over Airport while Flat Rock (0-7) lost to Milan 42-14. Huron won last years game 48-7 while Flat Rock has won six of the last ten games in the series.

Huron continues to run the ball well while throwing just enough to keep teams honest. The defense has been one of the top defenses in the league for most of the year.

Flat Rock is still winless on the season and their losing streak has reached sixteen straight games. The Rams need to find a way to move the ball while keeping the clock moving. On defense Flat Rock will need to tackle better they have for most of the season.

This is a big rivalry game and there should be a big crowd on hand for Huron's homecoming. Unfortunately, this game will get out of hand early. Prediction: Huron 49 Flat Rock 13

Looks like Huron will get a first round home game with 2 more wins, that should be reason enough to put Flat Rock away early. EM

I remember when this used to be a rivalry!

Every team and school no matter the sport goes through a cycle of good and bad. Huron in the last 15 years has a losing record as does FR. Right now, Huron has a good squad and the next few years look good.

Class of 2011 was the last seriously rivalry amongst flat rock and huron lol after that it seemed as if all the players were best of friends (not a bad thing but a good rivalry makes for some hard hitting pads!)

Best of luck to Flat Rock; your team will get there. You're all still young just work hard.

Speaking of rivalries, anyone remember that basketball game back in 2010 against Huron and Flat Rock when Tyler Weclowski and Joe Connor went to blows? Good times lol
