Good job Bears. Nice win. Hopefully finish season on a couple good notes and a win next week.

Good Win for the Bears!!!

Not sure where that comment is coming from about the Airport JV? But, now that you asked. 52-12. Good year for this group of young men, just as it is for some of the other teams as well.

Does the SMCC and Milan Varsity head coaches even care about the JV players winning or is this some kind of character building experience?

Maybe it is time for the Airport and Huron Athletic Directors to move up their JV coaches to Varsity?

Didn't think the Riverview - Grosse Ile JV game would be so close. It must be rivalry week.

Keep your heads up Flat Rock, your program is headed in the right direction and the hard work is paying off, even if you don't see it.

What happened at Navarre last night? Congrats Bears.

Nothing for flat rock to hang there heads about. Apart of the big 4 instead of the little 4 is a damn good thing for these kids.

Harbaugh bolts back to the NFL?

Michigan has OWNED msu with every coach they have had that is not named RR or Hoke. Thats 90 years or so vs like 7.

In the modern era of football (When State entered the Big Ten) the series is 35-25-2. Nice try though.

Just an observation. I believe Huron is the only team in the league with no sophomores on the varsity and no freshmen on the JV. I wonder how things would shake out if all the other teams in the league left all their sophs on JV?

Airport would be even better if they brought the Sophmores down from Varsity.

SMCC would be very good. The sophomores on varsity are just as good or even better than some of the juniors

Huron has many kids on jv that could be starting on varsity

Riverview has a lot of talent in their sophomore class too, and only 2 play Varsity. Next year is going to be a very exciting season in the Huron league.

I am a RV parent, but those GI boys played their heart out last night. Great game!

We all have some sophomores on Varsity. SMCC only has 2 sophomores left on JV. The current kids on the team said many left the team. They also said only 4 sophomores up on Varsity. Not sure whats happening there. Jefferson JV is about half and half. SMCC team virtually all freshman this year because of numbers.

I'm sure they will bounce back one way or another. Very tough to compare teams based on the movement of talent. Airport, lots of bragging this year. I'm happy for you, but you QB is a sophomore. We all have freshman RB's. Huron has incredible numbers so they don't have to move anybody. That is great to hear.
Should be some fun seasons ahead.

What was the final league standings for JV ??

GI was supposed to get blown out. They could've won the game but RV o-line just drove the line and made great holes for the full-back. Great game

I think there will be much more parity in the league the next few years. That's going to make for some great football for all the Huron League fans!

I know I said the sophomores are even better than most of the juniors

Now you're just making things up they have 5 I could name them

Flat Rock JV lost last night but this is a fine group of players. Many of the young Rams were moved up to the Varsity because of Rams low numbers but next year should be an up year for Flat Rock. Only JV squads from Airport and Huron outplayed the young Rams. Watch out for Airport Jets with outstanding talent next year!

HURON LEAGUE CHAMPS= MONROE SAINT MARY CATHOLIC CENTRAL FALCONS!!!

CONGRATS!!!

what is with all this AIRPORT JV BEING SO GREAT. they lost to HURON. FLAT ROCK ONLY HAS 3 sophs on the varsity according to their program at the game. I SAW EVERY TEAMS' JV and there were some really good players on every team. Get ready for some good all round action in the LEAGUE next year.

At milan it's all about the varsity just look at number 9 been there since. he was a freshman, (very good player )a school that size should not have a problem getting enough players especially when the head coach is a teacher

For your information Airport has 4 O linemen 1 stud RB/DB 1 LB and K on varsity. So you just wait for a couple years.
