Dundee would like an elusive league title.

Erie Mason wants a season like 2003 under their pillow.

Flat Rock longs for a season like 1990.

Grosse Ile is hoping for another senior class like that of 2017.

Huron prays for a veteran coach to take them to the next level.

Ida is thankful for the last 4 years.

Jefferson wishes it isn't another 10 years before they return to the playoffs.

Milan is thankful for a senior class that won 32 games in high school.

Monroe hopes to end a decade-long league title drought.

Riverview hopes for a healthy 2017.

SMCC wishes for the return of an explosive offense.

Summerfield would like another decade of playoff football.

Whiteford hopes that Muskegon Catholic Central jumps up to Division 7 in the very near future.

Airport Finds Coach

Jim Duffy will be named the new coach at Airport High School. Duffy is a 2001 graduate of Airport High School and was recently inducted into the Airport Hall of Fame. Duffy was a standout athlete in football, basketball and baseball during his prep career.

Pickens Step Down as Jefferson Coach

The Huron League Coach of the Year, Bruce Pickens has stepped down as the head football coach of the Jefferson Bears. Coach Pickens plans on spending more time with his high school son who is active in a sports at another high school. Pickens replaced Marc Cisco after he retired from coaching. The Bears qualified for the playoffs this season for the first time since 2006 and finished with a record of 5-5.
